FAQs
What’s the deal with the altitude?
This is a very important thing to be aware of. Please read the following blog:
Adjusting to Altitude – Symptoms, Tips and Myths!
The elevation of Telluride is 8,750' and the wedding venue is even higher. This means there is 30% less oxygen in the air in Telluride than at sea level. For those traveling from sea level, remember to drink plenty of water, wear sunscreen, and "two to three drinks is more like having four to five drinks for low-altitude people." Ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin) should help minor symptoms, but please call the Telluride Medical Center, (970) 728-3848 if symptoms worsen. It is important not to ignore any of these symptoms.

What's the weather like?
July is a wonderful time to visit Telluride. While the weather is generally pleasant, occasional afternoon thunderstorms can occur, so we recommend bringing a light rain jacket and suitable footwear. Daytime temperatures typically reach around 80°F, with cooler mornings and evenings dropping to the mid-50s, so layering is a good idea to stay comfortable throughout the day.
What is the best way to RSVP?
